My husband and I have a weekly date night – a night where we leave the house, dress a little nicer than usual (i.e. I’m not allowed to wear my oversized burgundy knit from Supre that I bought in 2012, and he’s not allowed to wear his gross orange soccer jersey – I hate that thing), and we go somewhere new to eat appropriately portioned amounts food and drink moderate and sensible amounts of wine*.
This week’s date night happened to fall on Valentine’s Day… ok fine, we planned it that way #romance… and not only did I not whip out my standard jeans, tee, sneakers combination, I wore this. It’s the kind of dress you make an excuse to wear. That crochet top, dipped hem, and lightweight chiffon layered skirt, I mean, Love.
So, having now congratulated myself for being a well dressed human with clean hair for at least one day out of the week, I’m currently sitting at my desk, in my 5 year old Supre jumper, and already looking forward to next week’s date night.
